In 1971, my sister Roberta and I drove to Pittsburgh to be part of Joanne Watkins’ wedding celebration. It also served as a mini-family reunion, as most family members from West Virginia and Pennsylvania were in attendance. Pictures of the reception were taken at the family-owned hall in Pittsburgh. On the Sunday after the reception, the ‘Zeck’ side of the affair gathered there again to continue the reunion.

During the drive to the wedding, the back seat was for sleeping.

Bill Armstrong, Ned Smith, Roberta Zeck. Roberta and I wanted to stop in Ohio to see our uncle (only sibling of Kathryn Zeck) on our way to the wedding.
